Honey Hill Farm Mobile Pony Rides& Petting Zoo

PONY RIDES - Our ponies come in all sizes from very small to almost horse sized so that ALL of the children can ride. We do not carry a 'scale' with us that could embarrass a child or hurt tender feelings. We have had years of experience and we know our ponies so we can judge what child fits best on what pony.

Our ponies can be individually hand led or for larger events, on one of our 'live carousels' that can hold from 3 to 8 ponies. Carousels are good to use at larger events for crowd control. Some companies brag that they do not use 'live carousels'. If you know the nature of a pony, you would understand that ponies are 'herd' animals who like routine and prefer the company of other ponies. As long as they get regular breaks and water, which they do, most of our ponies are content to work the carousel with the other ponies. Many of our ponies were raised by us and are in established family units or they have formed bonds with other ponies. When training a pony for the carousel, we usually put them behind their mother, an older sibling, or a stable buddy to reassure them and to learn from the older pony. WE LOVE OUR ANIMALS AND WANT THEM TO BE HAPPY. Ponies are a lot like people. They need exercise and having a purpose is good for their general health. When our ponies get too old to travel or work, we do not sell them. They are retired to live out their lives on our farm, here in Kentucky. We currently have 3 retired ponies and 2 retired goats.

PETTING ZOO - We have a great farm petting zoo consisting of animals that are friendly and love attention. We can bring mini dwarf horses, mini donkeys, mini cows, pygmy and nubian goats, sheep, llamas, turkeys, geese, rabbits, ducks, and exotic chickens. We always have feed available for the children (and adults) to give to the animals.

We also provide hand sanitizer for all of our events. OUR ANIMALS ARE OUR PETS AND PARTNERS AND ARE NOT FOR SALE. ALL OF THEM HAVE BEEN RAISED BY US AND WE ARE PARTICULARLY CLOSE TO THEM.

MINI WAGONS - MINI WAGONS - We have 3 adorable pony pulled wagons including a covered wagon, a red and white circus type wagon, and a John Deere farm wagon. The wagons are small enough to use in confined spaces and hold up to 10 children. We often use them on a sidewalk or a quiet street and go around the neighborhood. Wagon rides do require a somewhat level area.

HONEY HILL FARM is fully insured and is licensed by the KY, Ohio, and Indiana Departments of Agriculture and our animals hold current health papers. We are also licensed by the USDA (which is required by law) and we are in compliance with the 'Animal Welfare Act'.
