1,001 Nights Bellydancers

Lola is a popular New England performer with American and Arab audiences alike. Her heritage is unique in that she is the daughter of a Lebanese virtuoso oudist father, and her mother was a bellydance instructor. She has a strong musical and dance background. She is a conservatory graduate violinist in addition to being certified in Russian style ballet- all before she discovered her true passion that is belly dance, or raks sharqi. She is multi-lingual which sets her apart from other dancers, in that she is able to interpret the Arabic lyrics with emotion and gestures. Her performance is reminiscent of authentic cabaret performers from the Middle East full of life and feeling.

Lola has opened shows for international stars such as Lebanese singer Katia Harb and more recently for Egyptian pop artist Ehab Toufic. Not only has she danced all over New York and New England, but also in Canada and Europe. She can be seen on a regular basic in clubs in Boston and Providence. FIRST....Thank you....for lack of a better description....you were the life of the party and the most appreciated.....Your appearance brought me a new respect from my husbands friends.....one for my choice of entertainment and 2 for my choice of entertainer!! You gave my 'young' husband something to brag about and most of all you helped a senior dear friend.
