Based in San Diego, Marianna is an authentic Middle Eastern style belly dancer. Since 2002 she has performed at countless private and public events in the San Diego and Los Angeles area. She is well known among the local Middle Eastern community and is regularly hired for Iraqi, Lebanese, Persian, Greek and Indian parties and weddings as well as for staged shows and corporate events. Her style has a true Middle Eastern feeling: graceful, energetic, playful and sensual. Her shows are exciting and unique and often involve several belly dancers, live musicians, as well as fire props.

Marianna’s regular shows are held at Al Bustan – Fine Middle Eastern Cuisine (Downtown, San Diego) with live music; at Greek Town Restaurant in El Cajon, at the House of India (Old Town, San Diego) and she is regularly featured in other restaurants and hookah lounges.

Her performance is not only a perfect way to get the party started, but it may also be the highlight of the event as a quick surprise or a feature at a cultural or corporate event. The performances are usually 10 - 30 minutes in length (these include full shows and belly grams). Several different props or dance elements may be incorporated depending on the occasion. If there is a guest of honor (such as in birthday, graduation parties, etc) he or she will be at the center of attention and will feel very special. Besides providing a unique, traditional Middle Eastern experience Marianna will also pay special attention to involving the audience and will make sure everyone is on their feet dancing.

Marianna presents belly dance as a respectable art form, family oriented and suitable for all ages. She does not dance for bachelor or all male parties.
