Anahita's Dance - Belly Dancing & Instruction

After training in Ballet, Tap and Jazz for many years, Anahita began training in Middle Eastern Dance in 1996, and has taught this dance form for more than 5 years at several locations in Massachusetts. She has also taught classes on the basics of Latin dances; Merengue, Cha-cha, Rhumba, Salsa, & Bachata as well as ballet, tap, and jazz. Anahita has been a soloist and group performer with Troupe Khalele Korepsias in the Merrimack Valley under the leadership of Naharin since approx. 1999, and more recently with the Kharamana troupe on Cape Cod. She has also performed for various festivals, special event celebrations, and restaurants, and was recently featured at The Cape Cod Museum of Art for “An Evening of Bellydance”.

She has most recently started her own troupe Kiz in Nuray (Daughters of Moonlight), which she and members of are available for performances at a variety of venues, such as birthdays, weddings, retirements, festivals or other special occasions. Her years of experience combined with her full time position with Pro Event, Inc., an event management and staging company, have given her the advantage of knowing how to produce exceptional shows.
