Robert DeNiro ~ Sammy Liguori

Sammy Liguori has portrayed Robert DeNiro since people started recognizing the uncanny resemblance after seeing the movie “Midnight Run”.

He works at conventions, private parties and special events throughout Las Vegas and Southern California areas.

Legendary actress, Debbie Reynolds stated “Beautiful Bobby DeNiro – people love you!” Martin Scorcese’s mother Cathryn Scorcese said to Sammy “Oh, my God, you’re Bobby’s twin!” And, Nicholas Pileggi, Author of “Casino” looked up at Sammy at his book signing and stated “Bobby number two!” Bob Vernucci of the Riviera Hotel hired Sammy to be Robert DeNiro at the opening of “Casino” at the United Artist in Las Vegas.

In addition to being a Robert DeNiro look-alike, Sammy is also an impressionist comedian and does a great “Columbo”. He talks, walks and acts like DeNiro & Columbo.

Sammy performed at Debbie Reynolds Hotel at “Jazz & Jokes” for over a year and also in numerous clubs in the Catskill resort area in New York and Hotels.

He has done comedy, drama and played secondary roles in films and off Broadway shows, “3 From Brooklyn” and “The Football Wedding”.
