Ricky Martin ~ Alex Alonso

Long before Ricky Martin's English album was released in the United States he was well known in Puerto Rico and in the Spanish community. Alex Alonso grew up in Puerto Rico and has been a Ricky Martin impersonator since 1993.

Back when Alex was still in school people would always call him Ricky instead of Alex due to the striking resemblance.

In 1993 Alex realized his joy for performing, singing and dancing like Ricky Martin so he entered a well known talent show in Puerto Rico involving all the schools. 15,000 people attended and the winner was Alex Alonso.

It was that contest that helped Alex realize what he wanted to do, and has since performed at private parties, conventions, weddings, birthdays, meet and greets and many other events impersonating Ricky Martin.

Alex feels honored and proud to portray the talented Ricky Martin and wishes to bring his own special performance to your event.
