An essential aspect of our ministry is to provide support and encouragement for individuals, couples, and families through prayer, counseling, and educational resources, and events. St. Matthew Lutheran is in the Museum District and with its beautiful interior, tower bells, stained glass and magnificent organ, is one of the most attractive venues in Houston for weddings.

Music & Wedding Coordination
For more than twenty-five years Anthony has been involved with hundreds of weddings, entrusted with providing beautiful music for the wedding service. All weddings large or small are equally important from our point of view. They all receive our best work and interest. The finest in organ music combined with trumpets, strings, vocal and choral will surround your event with significant and memorable music. Our musicians are drawn from the finest available in the Houston area. Kathy Douglas-Pessarra will coordinate your wedding allowing you to enjoy your special day free from undue stress. She brings her considerable experience to your event and addresses your concerns in a personable and professional manner.

Anthony began music study at age three and was performing on stage at the age of nine. Today he specializes in classical organ and popular piano for weddings and other occasions. Anthony is also available as event organist in churches and venues other than St. Matthew. He will provide outstanding wedding concerts and service music with all the great processionals and related music.
