My name is Jorday Rivera and I am a dance instructor in the New York Metropolitan area. Over the past few years, I have shared the stage with many of the most innovative Latin artists of our time such as the late Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Tito Nieves and Jose Alberto "El Canario" to name a few. After learning the art from possibly the best mambo instructor in the business who goes by the name Eddie Torres, the love for the music and the passion to dance inspired me into launching my very own dance school self titled,

Jorday’s Dance School. Since then and many students later, I decided to venture out and created my dance company properly named Mambo’s Finest. And now I offer myself to the world in Jorday.com. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile. Jorday’s Dance studio is a family run business. Her sister Tiffany assists Jorday in teaching the classes. Her mother Daisy takes care of finances. Her father Jorge makes sure everything runs smoothly and the youngest of all, Daziann, is in charge of promotions.

There are three instructors during the sessions. All of the sessions are intense so you definitely get a workout, there is a lot of energy from both the instructors and the students. To explain it in one word would be “FUN!”. Everyone in the class is always eager and willing to help anyone that may be having a problem with a turn pattern or a shine.
