We Offer...

Professional, Certified and Master Dance Instruction for ages 3-Adult. Dance lessons include Competitive and Recreational Dance Team Instruction, Preparation for High School Dance and Drill Team, Creative Dance for Pre-school children, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Salsa, Hip-Hop, Flamenco and Folklorico. Private dance lessons are available. Choreography is also provided for special events to include Quinceanera, Sweet Sixteen and Wedding Dances. Personal Pageant Coaching and Mentoring is also available!

Owner & Program Director
Cynthia Plumas founded Cynergy Dance Company in July 2003. At the early age of five, she began ballet, tap, jazz and baton twirling class in her home town of Port Lavaca, Texas. Through the years, Cynthia continued to develop her dance experience and passion for performing in numerous school and city wide events. Cynthia also led her high school dance/drill team as Captain for two years. Her dance talent also became an asset in many childhood pageants, talent shows and dance competitions. While attending college at Southwest Texas State University, Cynthia joined the honorable Strutter Drill Team organization. She graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.

Cynthia has managed Cynergy Dance Studio for five years. Her goal is to continue to build her business and her dance education by providing a versatile and unequivocal dance program suitable for students of all ages in order to help them reach their individual goals, improve self-confidence and provide them with an enjoyable and energetic dance experience. Cynthia enjoys reaching out to the community in any way possible. She has volunteered in several community events and is a supporter of the San Antonio United Way Program. Cynthia has been a pageant mentor and was also selected to judge the Miss San Antonio Teen Pageants in 2004 and 2006 and the 2007 San Antonio Jam Fest Dance competition. She is Cynergy's lead Choreographer for Quinceanera, Sweet 16 and Wedding Events. She has choreographed dances for several special event groups in the cities of Houston, Austin, San Antonio area. Cynthia also instructs Pre-Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Salsa Dance class at Cynergy.
