Ewes Originals Floral Preservation
We offer you a freeze-drying preservation service for your floral keepsakes. Whether you are looking to preserve your wedding bouquet, a unique blossom from your own garden, or flowers from any special occasion, we look forward to personally assisting you! Freeze-drying is a preservation process that is a combination of science and creative design, which was originally created for the pharmaceutical and food industry. A special freeze-drying machine is used to accomplish this task. Almost all botanicals, fruits and vegetables can be freeze-dried. The process used is called "sublimation". Once the flowers are deeply frozen, a vacuum is applied to pull all of the water out in the form of water vapor. Sublimation occurs when frozen liquid, by-passing the liquid state, goes directly to a gaseous state. This water vapor is then transferred to a separate chamber, called the "ice bank". It forms into ice, and is then removed. After the freezing process is over, the designing aspect begins. We work closely with our customers, to personally choose how to display their keepsake. Each memory is unique, so each design must be. We offer a wide selection of custom floral designs, and wreaths, as well as a unique line of fresh potpourri recipes...which may be purchased in bulk, or custom made into beautiful bridal favors, each displaying your name along with your special date! We look forward to meeting with you in our showroom, where we can sit down and explore these endless creative ideas that best suit your needs. Whenever possible, it is best if we could meet before your special event. This enables us to work with you, and your florist, to determine flowers that offer optimum success. Arrangements can be made at this time to have us pick up your flowers, or to have someone drop them off to us. For more information please visit
