Savannah guitarist Doug Povie can provide this service for your special day. Mr. Povie is a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree. For the past 16 years he has taught band, jazz band, and guitar classes at Shuman Middle School Performing Arts Academy. Mr. Povie also performs with the Savannah jazz, funk and blues band Eat Mo' Music, and he is a featured instrumentalist at Gazebo Weddings of Savannah ( www.savannahweddings.com) and at Tybee Island Weddings (www.tybeeislandwedding.com).

The classical guitar is best suited for intimate wedding venues such as small chapels, historic homes, gazebos and home yards and gardens where it can be enjoyed un-amplified. For this reason Mr. Povie specializes in small weddings of about 40 guests or less.
Amplified service is available for larger venues and groups either through the PA system of the venue, or with the use of his amplification system.

In either case, your wedding will be an affair to cherish forever with the addition of the classical guitar to your ceremony.
