Classically trained, Monica has been playing harp for 15 years. She has extensive experience playing for weddings and special events, and has performed in Seattle with Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra and the Degenerate Art Orchestra. She plays in the jazz/funk ensemble Threat of Beauty, as well as the trio Siendo with Evan Florey-Barnes (bass) and Lalo Bello (Latin percussion). She has performed with the entertainer Kanye West and worked with many of Seattle’s reputable improvisors. She also serves as president for the Seattle Harp Society.
