Lasting Expressions Photography

For the past 20 years, my passion has been photographing people, capturing their special events and crossroads, and creating family heirlooms to be shared with generations to come. I love to document family transitions: engagements, weddings, pregnancy, and family. Sharing these special events with my clients has made many of them lifelong friends.

20 years ago I took a risk: I made photography, my interest and passion, my career. Since then, photography has changed a lot. From film to digital, I have enjoyed evolving with the new technologies and mastering them. Experimenting with new things photographically excites me; this art form is truly limitless.

My professional affiliations have continually inspired my work. Through memberships in organizations including the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Professional Photographers of California (PPC), the Professional Photographers of San Diego County (PPSDC), and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), I remain committed to staying connected, educated, current, and fresh with my work.

The choice to become a photographer has been personally and professionally rewarding. In 1998, I was awarded "Wedding Photographer of the Year" by PPSDC. In 1999, after passing a written examination and competing in many photographic print competitions, I became a PPA Certified Professional Photographer. In 2002, I achieved a personal goal and earned a Master Photography degree from PPA.

Above everything else, photography is fun for me. I love what I do and I know that my passion for photography shows in the images I create and the relationships I forge with my clients.
