I founded Whitney Peterson Photography in July 2006. My photographic style stays true to my documentary roots. Working on location-often in my client's most comfortable or natural surroundings-allows me more freedom to capture their true personalities. I use very little direction in order to keep my subjects and their environments fresh and unique.

My goal is to provide your family with exceptional images that will be endlessly treasured.

Photo shoots last approximately one to two hours and are done on location or at your home depending on the situation. If the shoot is for a newborn then it is best to do it at your home when your baby is happiest and most comfortable.
