She has vast experience with children, from infants to seniors in high school, and she also serves business and charity clients, providing head shots, photography for websites, and event documentations. She works on-location as well as in studio in her Rochester-area home.

My personal style...

The best way I can describe my style is "real life." And the best compliment I can receive reflects that: "This picture captures my son's smile!" "This one is so him." "This is how she looks when she thinks no one is watching."

I will never ask you or your child to say cheese. I might coax and prod a bit, but too much posing usually leads to forced smiles or obviously staged moments. During our session, I want everyone feeling loose, comfortable, relaxed. When we're all having fun, the end result is a photograph that reveals true personality and emotion.

When I work with children, I have found that kids are often more relaxed if their parents are out of sight. Kids feel free to be themselves rather than look toward mom or dad for approval. Sometimes, my clients feel like they've had an hour babysitter break! They might be one room away, but they can work, relax, or focus on other things while I focus on capturing the best pictures.

Please don't worry if I arrive and find a fussy baby - I expect it! If we need to take a snack or diaper break, it's no problem at all. If we need to spend a few minutes in a playroom with Thomas the Train or even Guitar Hero - that's great too. (Sometimes these moments when we're taking a break to find a smile lead to the best photographs!) The bottom line is that I love kids, and I have no problem staying patient and having fun!
