Soul Funktion

We are Soul Funktion and we want to perform for you. We play great Horn-Driven, American music, including: rock, funk, soul, rock n' roll, blues, rhythm and blues and swing. Our experienced musicians and vocalists have performed on cruise ships, at Disney and Universal, at conventions, banquets and have backed big name acts. Our group is available with three horns or our favorite: six horns. We are proud to play authentic classic rock and classic rhythm and blues, which includes many romantic ballads. If you love the sound of a soulful, swingin', rockin' horn band, Soul Funktion is for you. You just can't lose with rhythm and blues!

We strive to deliver a quality product based around horn-driven music including a solid beat, powerful vocals, and several styles from the **'s, **'s and **'s.

We are not a typical Top ** band.  We do not use any sequencing or recorded tracks.  We play top-notch arrangements from the following bands and more:

Played drums for over ** years. Has played in numerous musical styles, to include Country, Rock, Jazz, Swing, Reggae, Disco, and Blues. Played in ** different Cruise Ship orchestras. Studied Music and Business at Indiana University and Musician's Institute of Los Angeles.
