Steel String Session loves creating a fun atmosphere for corporate parties, your private party, festival gatherings, wedding receptions and adding that special sophisticated magic to wedding and unity ceremonies.

Each musician in Steel String Session sings and is a multi-instrumentalist playing on gorgeous fiddles, mandolins, guitars, dobros, upright bass. We love plugging in for a more powerful sound or taking it acoustic when the moment is tender or spiritual. Our song choices pull from traditional, rock, bluegrass, classical, seattle-sound, blues, jazz, big band, and country – from Beethoven to Seger, Dylan, Eagles, Beatles, Metallica (yes...), Old Crowe Medicine Show, Bill Monroe, Alison Krauss. We love requests.

Sound Equipment: We carry with us a full sound system with high end microphones and audio boards that can be parsed into a sophisticated and discreet Bose atmosphere sound for quiet ceremonies, then quickly enhanced with additional sound equipment for full indoor event rooms & halls or outdoor locations. We carry a wireless microphone for your vow-giver or event speaker. Tell us what you need – we can make it happen for you.

Our recorded version of Dueling Banjos is the only version (other than the original from the soundtrack of the movie Deliverance) to be endorsed by the song composer himself. <<< this just thrills us J.
